As a bicultural Latina-American clinician, I have specialized in providing comprehensive support to adolescents, young adults, and women who have experienced traumatic events and the challenges that often accompany them, such as anxiety and depression. My approach is rooted in compassion, cultural sensitivity, and evidence-based practices, which I tailor to meet each client's unique needs. I focus on creating a safe and empowering environment where individuals can openly discuss their experiences and feelings. My primary objective is to help clients rebuild their self-esteem and self-belief, encouraging them to recognize and harness their inner strengths. Together, we will work towards identifying and overcoming obstacles, setting realistic goals, and ultimately achieving personal growth and fulfillment. I am committed to guiding my clients on their healing journeys and supporting them in navigating their challenges while celebrating their resilience and progress. CLINICAL SUPERVISEES I have served as a clinical social work supervisor for licensure in New Jersey and New York for a decade. My commitment lies in assisting Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSWs) in obtaining their professional clinical licenses, enabling them to better serve their communities. In my supervision approach, I emphasize professional growth through case discussions. I support my supervisees in developing the necessary skills to make sound ethical decisions, explore cultural biases effecting therapeutic relationships and treatment outcomes, assess and formulate diagnoses and treatment plans, utilize individually tailored therapeutic techniques, and explore applied practice theories to effectively address client needs.
